About CPM

Cetrus Process Meter (CPM) is a powerful tool that helps companies save money on software licensing. By installing an Agent on users’ desktops, CPM is able to collect detailed information about how software applications and licenses are used. Armed with this data, Cetrus customers are able to see how many licenses to buy and analyze application use to maximize efficiency. For more info about all that we can do, check out our platform page here.

CPM v4.1

Last week we released a new and improved version of CPM!

What’s new?

In discussions with our clients, one of the biggest recommendations we received was to improve our installation process by getting rid of SQL server. We heard you and decided to make a change! Now, SQL is not needed on your server and the installation process can be completed in a matter of minutes.

With a small Manager footprint and our new streamlined process, installation is literally a 3 minute process

Other changes to the CPM platform are less visible, but are important in preparing for the release and incorporation of Application REStrictor (ARES). ARES is a new Plug-in that will prevent applications from launching, keeping a company’s number of checked out licenses from exceeding what they own.  See more information about ARES HERE.
